It must be at least 10 years since I started fighting the battle of the yogurt stain, then the cat joined us and for the last few years, he’s been leaving hairballs and accompanying stains in the middle (not hidden off in some corner) of the carpet. I’ve tried all sorts of cleaners, stain removers (HA!), whatever I could find. My daughter’s boyfriend (owner of three cats) suggested trying the Bissell cleaner. THIS STUFF IS MAGIC! Yes, it involves some elbow grease, but WOW! No more stains. I was pretty much convinced the stains were staying until we got new carpet. The fact that it got the years-old yogurt stain put me way over the top. Magic, absolute magic.
